Problems With New Server

QuoteOriginally posted by Adam Quote
If you are reading this thread, it means that you're browsing PentaxForums.com from our new server onto which I have recently (and on very short notice) moved the entire site, with minimal downtime! (snip)

I'm having problems with the new server, Adam. The site is now moving so quickly, I don't have time for leisurely reading the existing page followed by a cup of coffee during the brisk periods, or shopping at the mall during slower periods, all while waiting for the next page to open. The wife and my associates are already complaining about decreased interaction. I just can't deal with the stress. Can you fix this?

Thank you!

Thank you for your work for us, Adam. I know how much work you are going through - I ran an ISP for a year. Just like the bread, PITA.

Wonderful. It makes a world of difference.
Just one problem...I can't access the rest of the forums! I am trying to go to "Pentax accessories talk" or whatever the forum name is but it says it is being moved.

Sorry! It turns out that it all works now, but it was giving me an error message a few minutes ago. My fault!

Adam's a very smart man ... Stats as of now and the website is cranking performance wise:

755 (197 members and 558 guests)

Most users ever online was 770, Today at 06:10 PM. ... about 1 minute ago!!! That's definitely going to 'swell' very shortly to a much larger number.

Sweet Adam I am not sure I could rebuild my laptop in that amount of time Make sure to let us know if more donations are required - I would hate to see adds on the site, but as the site grows that may be inevitable - we will fight them till that day comes

When the time comes, I will put a "donation meter" online to show the current status of your server fund. We will definitely be needing more donations as things are looking right now.

Just a quick note- I've now fixed the user photo gallery so that all original imags can now be viewed. Enjoy!
