Suggestion AA battery FAQ

There are so many threads and hundreds of posts on PF asking the same questions about AA batteries and receiving nearly always the same bunch of confusing answers...
Il think it would be useful having an AA battery FAQ.

Just get Sanyo XX and be done with it. No FAQ required, IMHO of course.

But you just gave a good answer.
There are a lot of questions leading to this answer.
What I suggest is listing the frequently asqued questions, not just sticking an answer that makes sense for those who know how to deal with AAs.

Just read some threads about AA batteries powered cameras, and you'll find it clear because you're familiar with those issues.
But think you're new to such cameras and needing to know why your new Pentax DSLR only gets some 40 shots with AA's...
Then, you start searching across the threads and I'm sure you'll be confused, because you'll have answers like the one you suggest... and many more...

"I use 2900 mAh XYZbrand AA batteries for one year and my camera is working fine."
"Throw away those crappy NiMHs and stick with disposables."
"Get R-CRV-3 batteries..."
"I've the same issue and thought the camera is defective."
"Get Eneloops with the Eneloop charger."
"See this thread, it's discussed." (287 posts !)

Then you'll start your own thread... and get the same bunch of confusing answers.
