Beginning this week the Forum logs me out after 5 minutes. Happens on three different machines from 2 ISP's using Explorer and FF on Win7-64 and FF on XPPro.

EDIT:L This just happened in the time it took to type the prior text. The system returned a database error, offered a Login with my UID and PW pre-filled and a Thank you for logging in page. Clicking Proceed returned the database error. Cycled three times, then returned me to my in-process post.

Work is being performed on the server right now- you can expect a few bumps here and there until it's over at around 3am EST.

We ended up having to recover/rebuilt all of the databases on the server, save any of the ones on this site, which use an older system that isn't as prone to corruption. You may have noticed that last week, the number of users online on PF would intermittently drop to a very low number. This was in fact being caused by corruptions in other databases, which crashed the entire database process and forced it to restart itself.

As of this morning, all should be good- but I hope I'm not speaking too soon It was a bumpy ride!
