It looks like older posts can no longer be edited. What is the time limit?

I miss the feature of unlimited editing. At least one type of edit that I still occasionally need to have available is when I move links to pictures I've posted. Looking back over posts I made in the Voigtlander Lens Club thread, for example, I realize I moved links to posted pictures from Imageshack and Photobucket to my albums here at PF, so now all those links are bad in that thread. Any chance unlimited editing can be restored?

The time limit has been set to half a year; mostly, it's to encourage marketplace sellers to start new threads rather than editing the same post over and over, and to improve searchability on google. I can see how this might be inconvenient in the lens club forum, but I believe this can be handled on a case-by-case basis for now. Please re-post your photos in a new post, then PM me and I will delete your old post for you.

I see. I don't suppose you can limit it to just the Marketplace. It feels unhumble to repost a bunch of my posts all at once, and they'd be out of order in the thread. I was only interested in doing it for people who study such threads to check out the quality of lenses.

Yes, I'd like to edit a few of mine.

For example, I've been rescanning some of my slides and getting better results so I'd like to replace previously posted images.

Also, some of my early attachments were far too big (file size) and I'd like to replace them with smaller files.
