Question Monthly Photo Contest

I don't know why I hadn't seen this before, but under the "Fine Print" section of the rules for the Monthly Photo Contest, it has this line: "Winners of previous Monthly Contests are ineligible for entry in new/current Monthly Contests". Does that mean that if a person has won ANY of the previous contests they're no longer eligible to enter? Or does it mean that only the winner of last month's contest is ineligible?

I don't know if this applies to all the photo contests, but in the compact camera monthly contest, the previous winner RUNS the new contest, they pick the subject and judge the entries. So, they can't enter that month.

Please post a link to the thread where you found that, as it's not correct. You're free to enter any future contest as long as you don't resubmit the winning entry.

It's in the Monthly Photo Contests section, first post in the Contest Rules & Procedures thread where the rules are laid out. If you scroll down past the initial rules, there's a part labeled "Fine Print". It's the first line in that section.

The reference is made to winning photos, not the members who submitted them, although the rule could be made a bit clearer to reflect that.

Thanks! Yeah, I figured that out after Adam replied. It hadn't stopped me from entering, but I was a bit embarrassed that I'd never read the rules that far before and noticed it.

Thought I'd been screwing up.
