This table lists what i believe are the main variants. i'm not sure whether you want to list them separately or not. At the mo the reviews are for more than one version.
Vivitar 400mm f/5.6 Lens Reviews - Vivitar Lenses - Pentax Lens Review Database
Note that currently the pic is of the tokina version while the description refers to the komine version
NEW DESRIPTION:
This table covers the main manual focus f5.6 400mm telephoto variants that came out under the Vivitar label however there may be others. Tokina was the most common manufacturer - forum member dme and myself are of the opinion from examining our own examples and original box/docs that the tokinas are an 8 element design, however that doesn't rule out a 5 element design existing. Versions from the early to late seventies are commonly in swappable T, T2, T4 or TX mounts. Pre 1970's lenses don't have serial numbers that indicate the manufacturer.
The
Tokina RMC 400mm f5.6 was also, I think, sold as a Vivitar.
The earlier f6.3 lenses have a
seperate listing.
All have built in hood and tripod mount or bush.
