And discovered that someone else posted a thread for the same thing at the same time. How do I delete my thread? There's no delete options if I edit it.

For social group discussions, you have to report them or use the moderator contact form (https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/newthread.php?do=contactmoderator) to put in a request.
