PS: Hours after the original posting of this message, I now see a sizable image instead of merely a thumbnail. I don't know why the situation improved, but I'm appreciative. I'm leaving the message describing the previous situation, in case it somehow is pertinent for anyone.
Previously I could enlarge onscreen the thumbnails in the World Pentax Day section. However I haven't been able to do so the last few days. I must be missing a basic step. (I apologize if I've missed a posting about this situation. I searched.) Thanks in advance for any help.

What exactly do you mean? You simply need to click the thumbnails to get the full-size image.

The situation appears to be associated with use of a version of Firefox on a Mac using OS 10.4.11.

Instead, I today successfully used Safari Version 3.1.1 (That was after the problem reappeared when using Firefox).
