Question Why do i have to log out to see photos that are in the threads?

Why do i have to log out to see photos that are put in the threads?
When i'm logged in, the link to the photo shows but not the image.
When i log out and view the thread , the photos display as they were intended.

Same error in Firefox, Opera, and Internet Explorer.

I believe it has something to do with your cookies... Delete the cookies or if you don't want to, right click in the picture or icon and click open image in new tab

Also, check to make sure you are not connecting via https when logged in.

My cookies are set to delete every time i close my browsers

Have you made it onto somebody's ignore list perhaps? There's no other reason for content to be hidden when you're logged in.

everyone's ignore list??? Its not just one or a few posters, it's all, and if this is trol play by the admins then i am gone from this site and maybe pentax as well.

It isn't. Do you have an example of a photo or thread you can't see when you're logged in? I'll be able to log in through your account and see if I can't reproduce the issue.

You have the "show images" option unchecked. That's why the photos are all being converted to links. Check the checkbox and you'll be good to go

Another cause of this issue can be restrictions imposed by your ISP especially when at work. My employer used to restrict images above certain sizes. The result was that they showed up as links just as you describe.
