Question Receiving Greyed Out Likes

Sometimes I seem to received greyed out likes which don't seem to count from folk, just wondered how it all works?

An example today... two different people, on two different threads and over an hour apart between them.

Being todays greyed out one, apart from the handful of likes you can see, the full listing doesn't show the wee greyed out rosette thingys.

What do you mean by greyed out? This is what I see, does it show differently to you?

I have noticed though, that there can be a lag between a like being received and it showing up on you "Liked Posts" list.

When you go to your profile, the wee tab marked Like Posts, when clicked on drops down to show the last 7 or so entries, well there's a wee rosette on the left that normally has red tags on, but the greyed out ones don't and the likes total count doesn't include them.

Okay, I see what you're talking about. One of mine is greyed out. I have no idea why.

You can like as many posts by a user as you want to, but it only adds to that users likes once. Until you like the posts of some other users. You used to get a message that said you couldn't like a post until you spread some likes around, but Adam changed it.

As far as I know, any likes received from new users (<10 posts) don't actually increment the count in your profile, but they still count in the thread/post and show up in your user CP.
