Moderator Contact Form Message

I have posted "Hunter of the night" in the monthly photocontest B&W and visited the page contest voting (see Url) next to my picture on the right there was a little letter with a green hook, as I wanted to see what this is I received the message "subscription removed" in another window. What does this mean and what happened now ?

It means you're no longer subscribed to that particular thread. To re subscribe, click on the link above the first post in the thread.

May I ask how does one unsubscribe from forums? I do not wish to get an e-mail each time there's activity in a forum I've posted in.

Forum subscriptions should show up on your user cp index here:
https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/usercp.php

You can also unsubscribe directly from each forum index.

Threads have their own page within the user CP, and the default subscription settings is also found on the user cp options page.

It seems that one cannot simply unsubscribe for e-mail contact (subscriptions), for entire site; rather one has to unsubscribe for each thread? I simply do not want any e-mail notifications re/subscriptions to clog my mailbox.

Sorry, my edit didn't post, so I redid it, now both posted.

There should be a link to unsubscribe from all threads in any e-mail you receive. To do it from the site, go to the subscriptions page, select all the threads using the checkboxes, and change your subscription preference to "notification in User CP only". This will affect all your existing subscriptions.

Then, go to your user cp options (linked above) and change your default subscription method to the same as the above. This will affect future subscriptions.
