I'm talking about the "Latest Forum Discussions" heading on the home page. I noticed that closed threads and ignored threads are eligible to get listed there. Maybe hide those threads; no need to call our attention to discussions that we don't want to see or can't contribute to.

Threads started by ignored users show up too. As do deleted threads.

Deleted threads shouldn't show up, but currently the same sidebar is shown to all users, so there's no provision for filtering ignored threads or forums. I'll look in to changing that.
