I hope I can trust that? I feel paranoia setting in.....

I need to start trying to gather up some friends...fast! Been here since 2006 and all this time I've been without friends.....how could that happen?
Someone I can't mention just said...."OH! It happen, no mystery there!"

Hehe Nah, I'm good with that, Rupert. I kind of expected Otis to add me as a friend too, though...

Maybe that's why I don't have friends and Mrs Rupert does? I would have paid...if I had any money. Really. Bringing that up doesn't get me any friends Photolady....was that your intention? I'm supposed to be feeling better...but somehow, I'm feeling worse?

Otis is not supposed to be over here or Adam can declare open season on him...but I will pass it along! No doubt he is your friend!

Regards!

My intent was to make you not lie about who paid. You have to understand, my late husband had a habit of taking credit for what I did so it only came natural to me to defend Mrs. Rupert. I didn't say that to make you feel bad. And I did add you as a friend, that should tell you how I feel about you. I would never intentionally hurt your feelings.

That makes me fell all better Photolady....I'm already picking up some friends and it's good you are one of them! I still don't know how this works but someone will show me.....now that I have friends!

Mrs Rupert does pretty good at taking care of herself. I'm not exactly a little puppy dog...but I know better than to growl at her! Some have a better half.....Mrs Rupert is my better 99%!

Regards!

At least you have some common sense.

And that is good of you to say. I'm glad to hear a man actually admit to that.

Those that know us both know it's not just good to say...it's a fact of life! The 1% is that I was conniving enough to grab her up 50 years ago!
Old Rupert has had more tricks than Felix the Cat...."...the wonderful, wonderful cat....." I used to love those cartoons!

Same here. I find the ignore button more useful, although I still haven't made use of it. Of course, some members' participation in a thread make me find another thread to read - one's got to watch one's blood pressure, after all

Never used the ignore button and never will. Never hit the report button and never will ...unless it should involve harm to children or little animals.

I have great eyes, and though my mind is not as sharp as a tack, it's sharp enough to let me know that no one forces me to read anything.

Sometimes a person you may find offensive is just having a bad day.....we all do.....if they get better maybe they are worthy of your attention at some future point...if you didn't block them. I have some friends now that were once enemies over in the old P&R......friends that were once enemies make really good friends...they have been "battle tested" and passed the survival test!

We all have a few people we avoid, it's just smart. My favorite movie is The Good Bad & Ugly. What would it be without the Bad and the Ugly?

Regards!

I never use the ignore button.

But I do report misplaced and triplicate threads quite often....

That's not bad.......old guys like me sometimes get lost or post the same thread several times without realizing it. We appreciate young whippersnappers watching out for us in our old age!

I hope I never will, either, but some of the eternal nay-sayers can be rather annoying at times...

That I do, too. And the few occurrences of spam I have encountered.

Do not be alarmed... I appear to be in the same boat i.e. friendless.

But in my case I can probably understand why.

I just added you as a friend...like it or not.....

Now.....Someone tell me just what this function is good for, how you find the list of your "friends" and will this require them to loan you money to buy new gear? If they don't......how do you dump them?

Regards!
