Erroneous Unread Private Message Notification

Starting this morning my notifications show 1 unread private message, yet there are none. I went back and re-opened every message that I received today and yesterday, I closed the browser and deleted my cache, I logged out and back in, but the notification is persistent.

This happened to me yesterday Jim; I finally closed the Forum, re-entered, and it was gone.

Usually refreshing the main page clears it. Trying sending a PM to yourself and see if the notification count clears after reading the new PM and refreshing the page.

I've tried every sequence variation of logging out, closing browser, deleting cache, logging in that I can think of.
It's still there, but, even though I border on obsessive, I'm not going to let it bother me.

Nope. It's going to bother me one bit.

I'm just going to ignore it.

Not paying any attention to it at all.

Don't even notice it now.

Even if I do occasionally glance at it, I"M NOT GOING TO LET IT GET TO ME!

Make it go away!!!!! 1cry

Happens to me a couple weeks ago but it went away overnight.

Like one of those odd pains where I sit that come and go.

It's just @Rupert seeking donations for orphaned squirrels.

No, nor did I hang a garlic necklace on it.

Maybe you were attacked by a bowl of gazpacho topped with velveeta?

Should be fixed now. Seems like a one-time brain fart on the system's part
