Hi:

I receive notifications of posts to subscribed threads on my personal EMAIL. As I check PF daily, commonly three times daily, these notifications are superfluous and when I'm away on vacation, can mount up to well over 200 notices filling the inbox. Is there some way to disable these notices sent to my personal EMAIL address? On the "Edit Options" page I set the notification option to "User CP only" 18 months back, but that made no difference. Is there some option setting I've missed?

I think you might still need to update your existing subscriptions. Visit your list of subscribed threads:
https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/subscription.php

Select all of them using the checkboxes, then convert the subscription type to "user cp only" for those. The option in the settings page only applies to new threads.

By the way, it may be a good idea to go with the weekly e-mail, as it might pick up on threads that you've missed while ignoring those that you read.
