Sticky thread for Marketplace Fraudulent Amazon listings

Could we pretty please with extra sugar lumps on top get a sticky thread on the Marketplace explaining the impossibly low priced camera gear on Amazon are really fraudulent postings and not to get excited or start new threads asking if they are safe?

We seem to get these kind of threads every few weeks. "K-1 asking price 400 dollars, please call us first before ordering." Those kind of listings. Then a new thread 'Is this legit?'.. haha no.. if you had to ask, then you didn't need to ask.

It might also serve as an educational/warning notice to those who don't frequent the PF site too often too in watching out, when shopping, for frauds such as this.

I'd be happy to stick a resource thread, if someone could post examples of legit / borderline / scammy listings.

Doh. Mod told me to post here (instead of posting themselves) then when I do, Admin tells me post some examples (instead of posting themselves).. hehehe!

Here is a listing currently for the Pentax K-1 that shows good listings (Green highlight and 'Fulfilled by Amazon' as well as having shipping fees listed) and bad listings (Red highlight and 'Please all before ordering' in the Condition field as well as NOT having shipping estimated).

Other notable is the fraudulent listings are from buyers with personal names (typically) and have 'Just launched' their shop on Amazon.

Reputable vendors have long histories with positive ratings, typically on a company name.

Btw I blacked out the names of the fraudulent 'resellers' and their contact information.
