There is a limit by thread age and by number of marketplace threads - it is somewhere in the sticky. If I recall only two or three threads can be updated every couple of days.

You can bump at most 2 threads every 24 hours, and each thread no more than once every 40 hours. These limits are automatically enforced by the system.

Thanks for the info/update - I kinda thought it might be something like that.
