Hello All

I recently had an issue with my Pentax forums account. After several emails "bounced" my membership was cancelled. I made 3 unsuccessful attempts to subscribe again with no success. I was almost at the point of giving up on Pentax Forums when I tried again, this time with my @gmail.com address. Success! My membership was re-activated.

Has anyone else, in particular those of us with @verizon.net email addresses had similar issues? I hear there could be an issue of connectivity or compatibility or communication between PF and Verizon (in my case FiOS internet service). Just wondering if it is just me or if others had issues.

Verizon.net email addresses are going away soon aren't they? They are making everyone migrate to AOL email. I guess you can keep your verizon.net address though...

I used to have a Verizon.net (dsl) address until a couple of months ago and never had any problems specific to PF.

We currently cannot delivery any e-mail to Verizon addresses. I'm looking at a workaround to fix this issue, as they refuse to whitelist our IP.

Thanks all for your responses. The fix was easy to do but not easy to figure out. I setup an @gmail.com address and configured my @verizon.net mail to forward to the @gmail.com address. Then I setup PF subscription directly to the @gmail.com address. This enabled me to keep my @verizon.net email for all other incoming email and by forwarding it to the new @gmail.com I still only need to find all in one email inbox.
I have not heard anything regarding verizon email addresses going away and being changed to AOL. I sure hope that does not happen.

I setup a GMAIL address and that is working fine. I finally got a communication from verizon a few weeks ago notifying their customers that they are discontinuing their .net email service as of June 23rd.
