I have a Sigma 28-200 'Aspherical IF' lens coming soon. It's not the DG version but they look pretty identical, so it must have the coatings that were in use for film days.
Looking at the Sigma Zoom discontinued section I see the 28-200 f/3.5-5.6 not labeled DG but it has a DG image in place. The DG listing is there too, with a
Nikon mount image?
Once my lens arrives I'll pass along a non-DG shot, and maybe you can toss the Nikon image and shift the DG image to its proper review.
Here's the eBay link to what I bought.
Not a surprise to mess these up, looking online I see DL DG and just Aspherical IF referenced interchangeably in several places..
