Question Got stars?

I noticed three gold stars under my forum name in posts. Is this new? How much do I need to post to get more? Is this an incentive for us to post more? Am I more credible than people with just two stars (not to mention silver stars?).

Three gold stars = Captain
(I have 2 silver stars = sergeant)
