Photo attachments

I always upload pictures to threads from my Mac because I don't post pictures anywhere else. Obviously as time goes on, my space allotment runs out and I delete some shots to make room for more. This means that sometimes someone posts to an older thread and the picture is no longer there. Is there anyway to move pictures to the photo gallery so that the space for attachments is released but the link to the picture (now in the gallery) remains?
Thanks

The process you described above is entirely manual. You must re-upload your photo to the gallery, then edit your original post, remove the attachment, and place an inline link to the image instead.

I'm planning donation options yielding even larger space allotments for the future, as many users have reached the 20Mb quota already, as well as increased limits for current site supporters.

Thanks Adam.
Tell me, do we get an auto reminder prior to our year being up so that we can donate?

Yes, you get an e-mail a month or so before your donation period expires.

Another way is to upload pictures to an online service like photobucket and imbed the picture's link in your post.

That's also an option, yes. But we prefer it if you use the gallery, since its here for you guys to make use of!

somewhere, I was able to get to a page on the forum, that shows all the attachments I have uploaded.

I have this set in my favourites at home, but cannot find it any longer as to how to get back to this page.

I then copy the url into my current post for what ever photo I want to re-use

That page is in the User CP menu, at the very bottom. The link reads "Manage Attachments."

I did not want to create new thread so I wrote here:
Do I must upload all pictures to flickr and then paste the link here? Or could I upload image to imagehack (for example) and post link?

It doesn't matter where you upload them, or from where you link to them.
