Did you paste some weird-looking HTML into your message? The request was blocked by our firewall.

I typed into the visitors message but realized I wanted a PM so did a Ctrl X with the text and went to the PM window. Then tried several times going to the PM section for that member.

If you press on the "AA" icon in the upper-right corner of the editor, then paste your text, the stray HTML should be removed, and your submission will go through. Or you can first paste it into notepad, etc.

OK < I have never paid any attention to the aa that is X'ed out. Now I see what it does. Your firewall must think everything is an attempt at SQL injection or some other nasty attack!

Not quite, but there are some rules which cause high levels of false positives. I have disabled most of them, but the one that was triggered is worth keeping.
