Problem with putting in serial no.

I have got hold of a Pentax SV and tried to enter it in the Serial Number Database.

But I got an error message - I must enter 7 digits, but my SV only got 6 digits.

What to do ? ;-)

For now, you could perhaps add a leading zero to the numbers for your camera and lens...

It's just that there is no leading zero on either the camera or the lens - so it wouldn't be totally correct ?

Understood, but I think that's a very minor thing, and at least it allows you to get your camera and lens into the database

FWIW, All the SV’s in the database have six digit serials with no leading zero.

Can you please post links to the entries that need to be changed to 6 digits? For entries that had no limit previously, I changed it to default to 7, since we were getting bogus submissions.

The entry for the SV, that needs to be changed to 6-digits, is: Pentax SV Serial Numbers - Pentax Serial Number Database - PentaxForums.com

and the entry for the lens - Super-Takumar 1:1.8/55 is : Super-Takumar 55mm F1.8 Serial Numbers - Pentax Serial Number Database - PentaxForums.com

- or should I add the serial no. first with a Zero-digit in front, and you will then delete the zero?

Thank you ;-)

Thank you again, Adam
