Moving / Merging of threads

When a moderator moves and/or merges threads, he should be required to make a post telling what he did and why.

I agree that this is generally a good idea and that it should be done as a standard practice for non-trivial moves or merges.

However, if you believe something that was moved/merged should be un-merged, that would be something to contact the moderators about directly.
