Oh dear - another year I've missed out on this great event.
Just got the message and it's already the 12th.
Would suggest announcing the day about a week in advance next time.

Fred, if you can view your images on photobucket, just click that little icon with the mountain shape above while you're writing your message and paste the URL of each picture, and they'll show up in the final message.

file size is keeping me out

I shoot high quality JPEG with my K200D and my files are all between 3.75 and 4.25mb so I can't upload any of them. If I resize I lose my EXIF data. Should I have downgraded my quality if I'd thought ahead? My photos are no loss to humanity but they have character...

My three are posted!

This is a great idea! I used the DA* 50-135, which is my this-week-lens in a field of view region that I normally use only for sports. It made me work at the images a bit.

OK can't get into the gallery

because my files are too big so I will link to them in Photobucket. Like I said they are not particularly awesome pieces of photographic art but they are a minute in our life today.

If you re-size using Irfanview I don't think you lose Exif data, with Picasa you do. I only use Irfanview for resizing for over 13yrs now...can do it by batch also.

Since the 11th was a Sat here, that meant Soccer games for me....I shoot for two teams every weekend and share them with all the parents on a Picasa Site...

Photoshop CS2 removes EXIF data when you use the Save for Web feature, so instead, just do a normal resize and save.

Sorry, Fl_Gulfer: Upload Failed - Your photo cannot exceed 1Mb in filesize. Please also check the file format!
The photo was resized with Infaview and it changes the file from JPEG to a 1.21mg BMP file,, so is that a problem>?
