SMC Pentax-M* 300mm F4 diagram

Adam,

I'm a fan of the M* 300 and I'd read this lens contains ED elements. But the diagram in the database doesn't indicate which elements are ED glass.

While searching, I came across an annotated diagram at this site:
Google Translate

Could you integrate the basic glass info at Cavina's page into the PF database diagram?

Just for fun, I cobbled together a diagram highlighting the ED elements. If it's of any use to you, you're welcome to it.

Before we can use it we need to make sure that the diagram you found isn't copyrighted by someone other than Ricoh.

Ole,

The diagram in my post is based on the one in the Pentax Forums database in the M* 300mm review. I just colored in the relevant elements and cut and pasted the text from another Pentax Forums review page.

Maybe I should've asked your permission before doing so?

Thanks, sounds good!

I thought you had lifted the image from a third party!

I will insert the image into the database.

Ole,

So it's okay for Pentax Forums to use lens diagrams originally found in Pentax literature?
If that's the case, I have some Pentax lens booklets which include two diagrams that are missing from the P.F. lens review database.

The lenses are:
Super-Takumar Zoom 70-150mm F4.5 Reviews - M42 Screwmount Zoom Lenses - Pentax Lens Reviews & Lens Database
SMC Pentax 200mm F2.5 Reviews - K Prime Lenses - Pentax Lens Reviews & Lens Database

And I uploaded large dimension scans here:
Super Takumar 70-150mm f/4.5 diagram - Pentax User Photo Gallery
SMC Pentax 200mm f/2.5 diagram - Pentax User Photo Gallery
