How to reset cookies?

I have accidentally deleted part of the quote when replying to a post, how do I reset the cookies or whatever I need to do to get the full quote back?

When typing your reply, any quoted text will be included between the words "QUOTE=original poster name" and "/QUOTE" in square brackets (I did not show brackets in this example as I did not want it to appear as a quote). If both the "QUOTE" and "/QUOTE" are present and you just deleted text in between, then you can simply copy and paste the missing text in the correct place before "/QUOTE". If you deleted either "QUOTE" or "/QUOTE", you can also retype them.

Alternately, selecting the missing text in the original post should bring up a pop-up box with an option to 'Quote this text'. This will place that text in your reply at the position of the cursor, with new "QUOTE" and "/QUOTE" entries. You will then need to delete any duplicate "QUOTE" or "/QUOTE" entries. Quotes can be stacked but you should always have a matching number of "QUOTE" and "/QUOTE" entries.

If your reply has already been posted, you will need to click on 'Edit Message' first. I hope this helps.

Alternately, you can copy your reply text, delete your post, and start over.
Hit "Quote" for the post you want to reply to, paste your response back into the reply, and post it.

Click on the quote button in the post that you want to reply to, or simply highlight the text and you'll see a pop-up menu that allows you to do this. Clearing cookies won't change/affect this.

Canít see a pop up menu when highlighting. It seems once the text is deleted, it cannot be automatically filled again without typing it or using copy/paste.
