Question Force new post (no merge) on double post

Sorry to start two new threads in quick succession on the same forum like this! I hate to cause clutter!

I usually prefer my double-posts to merge, but when posting in the minigame forum today I discovered that there are times I would prefer separate posts.

Is there a quick-option anywhere, or a workaround, that allows the user to force individual posts on-demand? I did wonder if changing the "title" of the second post may force it, but I dont want to go around editing and double-posting and deleting until I get it right (if I can help it, at least!)

go to your " user control panel "

on the left, under " setting and options " choose " Edit Options "

under " thread display options " you will find this:

If you make two consecutive replies to a thread, they will be automatically merged by default. You can choose to disable this behavior.
