News Marketplace rules tweak - Please Read

Hi folks. With many 1st time sellers using the market place lately, we have noticed an increase in the listings that don't comply with the rules.
As money is changing hands, and reputations are involved, please read and follow the rules before making a listing. (see below.)

They are there for your benefit and protection.

The rules that have been newly highlighted are 90% of the troublesome listings we are encountering lately.
Not having to edit listings to make them conform to the rules is less work for you........................and us.

Your cooperation with this will be greatly appreciated.

Good luck to all future sellers, and I hope you buyers get the item(s) you have been craving.....

Incomplete thread titles, and lack of images of the item(s) listed, seem to be the main issues at present.

Thread titles must include all items listed for sale.
If you are selling 2 cameras and 3 lenses, they must appear individually in the title - K-5, K-3, 18-135, 100 macro wr, DA* 16-50.

Images of every item for sale must be included in the listing.
Here you have a choice - one image with every item shown (not recommended), or an image of each item for sale.(5 items = 5 images minimum)

My personal favourite is the "placeholder listing" as if we're going to run out of hosting space any time soon. Placeholder listings usually have the wording "I will add photos later" somewhere in the advert.

Hey folks, me again.

I've got some good news.....many thanks to the recent sellers for your listings.....the title and photo issues have been lessened.

Another minor issue has taken their place though. Please make sure that you put in a Shipping Destination.

It is important, because the members need to know where you are prepared to send your gear.

Shipping Destinations
Other (See Listing) in both places is not within the rules.............................
