In one of Sir Terry Pratchett's books, he makes reference to 'Vestigial Virgins' - cracked me up when I read it.

Back on Topic - no idea of the form, purpose or function of Guestbook - happy to wave it goodbye.

Gosh, I loved Procol Harem.

Well that makes me feel less like a useless remnant myself.
I'm also glad to have triggered a fresh appreciation for "Whiter Shade of Pale"

Hi again folks.
Adam's post in this thread changed my " reminder " into a sort of poll as to the Guestbook's future worth.
He is using your opinions here to potentially change the forums.
This is a great opportunity for you to have a say.

So, don't be shy.................................friendly

I'd be happy to see it gone. It serves no real purpose.

Well, if we are dodging the Traffic down Memory La(i)ne - Moody Blues, Pink Floyd, Yes, Genesis, Grateful Dead, Fairport Convention, Jefferson Airplane, The Doors, The Who, Zep, Jimi Hendrix, Edgar Broughton Band, Gong, Hawkwind, Electric Prunes, Caravan . . . .

I can see YouTube getting a bashing tonight !

I've always viewed the guest books as a way of have a public discussion with a particular member. But I've also seen lots of comments with no replies from the person in question. So I think their removal would be a help for many reasons.
