Question Uploads to PF.

I have cancelled all my recent up load attempts, as it shows as being a 107 kb file size. This despite the images being 1400 px longest side, and about 800 kb. There is no way that I want to see my image at the very low resolution of 107 kb !

What was the height? If the image > 900px tall, it will get scaled. Otherwise it will not and the quality will be the same as the original.

1400 x 934, but surely that extra 34 pixels won't drop me from 800 kb to 105 !

It probably would because along with compression, the resolution is also reduced slightly. If you scale the photo to 1349x900 prior to uploading you should be good to go.
