Like Europe, so that the geographical aspect would be considered?
This would even show Norway, Switzerland and Ukraine as well as russia, since these countries are within continental europe like UK and North Ireland.
What matters for the marketplace are taxes/customs and shipping in terms of time/cost/bureaucracy/resources. This doesn't line up with geographic boundaries very well. We need to pay tax (Einfuhrumsatzsteuer) for goods from Switzerland, even if right in the next town in Germany just 5km away, but not from some remote place in Norway, which is part of the European Economic Area ... Trying to model all that across the world is horribly complex, the EU is one of a few rather stable common market structures in the world and thus makes some sense.
