Error Search not working

When I open the Search dialogue, it closes almost immediately when I bring up the onscreen keyboard. My input weapon of choice is a stylus and touch screen so I changed over to a wireless mouse. Same result. I am unable to use a keyboard for search as my MS Surface go does not recognise the Surface keyboard.

I'm not sure what the issue might be, because even on a touchscreen, the search box should be usable when selected. However, the dedicated search page might be a viable alternative in your case: Search Forums - PentaxForums.com

Also, are you able to select the mobile site on your Surface?

I am unable to comment about the mobile site as I do not connect to mobile sites on my Surface or phone. I'm funny like that.
