Suggestion Marketplace shipping location choices excluding AK and HI

but it's probably more useful here. On the sales form, a seller has the choice to limit sales to 48 states, or include the US with some other countries. It causes many sellers to choose the 48 state option.

While shipping to Hawai'i and Alaska can get expensive and complicated, for small stuff like cameras and lenses it's not hard. The best deal is USPS Priority Mail, and prices are pretty much the same. Parcel Post goes literally by boat, can take 4-6 weeks and isn't good for camera stuff. FedEx and UPS automatically upgrade ground shipments to air, so those services are expensive.

Buyers in AK and HI are very familiar with the issues, but it gets tedious to explain them for every deal you're interested in.

Just added a field for the entire US to remove any confusion, though I've got to leave the other options in there, as quite a few members use them.

Also, keep in mind that you can edit the post that the Marketplace listing form automatically generates for you before submitting it.
