I was just in the SLR Lens Discussion sub-forum, and wanted to search for a thread I started titled "stop trying to make me sell my 77ltd". I searched for threads started by me, and it wasn't there (I've always found it using this method before.)

I then searched for the string "stop trying" and found the thread tile, but it says it was started by someone else and in fact is a completely different thread.

It looks like my thread title got attached to the wrong thread. Which makes me wonder if some type of table or index corruption has occurred... anyone else notice anything, particularly on searches for threads you started?

I had something similar happen wherin the "Latest moderator actions on your posts/threads " section of my User CP showed a thread of mine that had been locked (which I thought was weird), but following the link lead me to someone else's thread (which was locked but didn't seem to contain any contentions material so I don't know why)...

This doesn't show in my User CP anymore, so I can't tell you which threads I'm referring to. My thought was that maybe some threads had been combined into one and then locked, thought I don't know why... Perhaps it is a database error after all.

Errors like these, heliphoto, are few and far between. I'll go ahead and run some maintenance tools to fix orphan threads.

Jsherman, it's possible that your thread was split into two by one of the moderators, and thus doesn't show up as your own anymore. I'd have to look into that if you gave me a link.

It seems James (roentarre) has merged five other threads into this one: https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/pentax-slr-lens-discussion/38710-stop-try...-my-77ltd.html. Is that why it appears so strange?
