Milestone SD Card Giveaway

In celebration of the 500,000-post milestone we are about to reach (also known as "big-board" status), PentaxForums.com will be giving away a free 16Gb SanDisk SDHC card to the member who makes the 500,000th post*, and an 8Gb SanDisk SDHC card to the member who makes the 500,001st post*!

While the total forum post count at this time is approximately 480,000, post numbers are currently in the 484,000 range. This means that the 500,000th post will be made before the total post count reaches half a million.

We hope you find this milestone as exciting as we do! Get out there and post to increase your chances of winning! Good luck!

Have to say, that this is a very good idea, but I'm very disappointed that this goes to US and Canada only.
Some of us are also a long time members and even site supporters, but are excluded from this Milestone award.

Don't know the reason for this, but you probably got one.

Well the postage to the UK would probably be extortionate as everyone knows 16Gb is heavier than 4Gb

I am just happy to be a tiny part of a great community of members, posters and photographers sharing experiences, a bit of their lives and some really great photography works.
500,000 and beyond should be extraordinary moments that I look forward to, now that it has been brought to our attention.
Thanks to so many of you.

By the way, how to I donate money to the forum? Give me a link real quick. Maybe that should help pay for the postage no matter who wins the card.

I found it but I think I will leave those words up to encourage others to think about a small donation for the upkeep and great features of the forum.
