Question New Posts search doesn't mark threads read?

Interesting; did something change again? Posts that I've posted in no longer show up under Search/New Posts like they did previously...

Nothing has been changed since we went over to the more accurate database-powered system. On the search dropdown, you'll see the number of threads that are new. Once you read a particular thread, it should fade from the New Posts search after a certain time interval.

Also, please note that threads are marked as unread if any posts within are unread. For example, if there are new posts on page 2 and you only view page 3, the thread will remain unread.

I was about to make a new thread, but here we are already

The issue I used to have has been fixed. That is...clicking "New Posts" in front of a thread title would take me a few posts past the last one I read. It's now solved...but...

The new problem is that I'm seeing threads marked as new from 3-25 and it's 4-4. I don't want to click every single thread just to make it unbolded (yes, I made that up

). Where's the "Mark Forums Read" button? Another vB forum I'm on has it before the "What's Going On?" box at the bottom.

Please...can we get the "Mark Forums Read" option?

Under "QuickLinks" third link down from the menu that drops down.

Correct- and in the Simple Skin it's also at the bottom of the forum listing.
