Find gallery comments by user name?

I left a comment for a picture a week ago so that I can find it later. Today I was not able to find it! How can I find a comment I or other user left for a gallery picture on this forum?

At the moment, there is no such functionality. You can search photos, however, if you remember what photo you commented on.

I found a solution.

One can find anything in the gallery with the google advanced search like

Find web pages that have...
all these words: keyword
Search within a site or domain: https://www.pentaxforums.com/gallery

I my case the keyword was my username
This will not work immediately, but after a couple weeks or a month when the page gets into the google cash.

I was about to post the exact same thread, when I saw this one. I personally think it is a great suggestion, as tracking back photo comments to see if they were acknowledged, commented on by other members, or a question asked, can't be done.

Also, it would be nice to have some sort of email notification system, so users can "subscribe" for new photo comments.

Great gallery overall, Adam. Loving it.

You can actually conduct a google search through the forum advanced search page- check it out!
