I don't know if we would infringe on any copywright laws but I thought about how we can have our own section where we can download instruction manuals for the cameras without needing to seach it from other sites.
This would not be limited to instruction manuals per se of the cameras themselves but maybe even the likes of the "magic lantern" type guides for certain cameras.
We can build a database to help the forum members as to how to completely get the most out of their cameras.
It could also be incorporated into the camera review section if need be.
What do you guys think?

It would really be helpful if someone (don't know it it's possible) could make some of the manuals that are not on a particular site (e.g. : a less known pentax camera where you can no longer find a manual online but someone might have a copy of), into a .pdf file and include it as a database here.

I can do some, I think I've got a few bookmarked, they're not hard to find though, all it takes is a google search.

Yes, I think every bit of file we have can help 'coz you will never know when someone would actually need this kind of manual!

So, who would collate them and organize if possible to avoid double posts, redundant links or whatever?

I too would try to find or make .pdf files of what I have (I better start figuring out how to do this..) to populate this.
