LOL, LOL, LOL, I must admit you have hit on a great new Theme under A. but then again most In-laws can be this. LOL :=)))))

Ok, so we'll finally be starting the alphabet idea. The next (November) theme will be:

A for "Animals"

I guess the thought was that the people could choose any subject, as long as it starts with that letter, so the A category coul dhave photos of: Autos, aardvarks, antelope, etc, etc..

I had always thought that you meant a single topic for each letter...

Otherwise, things would really get out-of-hand, and each submission would be radically different with no unified theme. Maybe we can have one of those at some point, though, but definitely not now.

Sundin and I were on the same page, but I see your point on how subjective that could be to vote upon, I dunno, 6 of one, 1/2 dozen of the other, who knows how things will turn out.

Some of my best animal pictures were taken on my old Sony digital
They aren't the quality that my K100D offers, but the poses were priceless (it looks like a Mule Deer Buck is about to charge me in 1)

Is it ok if I just post my best animal picture, even if it's with my old camera?

Why not use an descriptive adjective to come up with a theme. That way it is totally subject to the photographers interpretation, which they must provide as some minor description to accompany the photo.
Example: Motion, fear, joy, opposition.
