Can't delete my post.

For some reason, I can't delete this:

https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/pentax-slr-lens-discussion/70478-can-some...tml#post710994

I was going to take a while editing it, and would rather just delete it and start new, but the "delete" option is not there!?!?

I was in the middle of creating this poll (which I subsequently ended up doing in a new thread) when after trying to preview it, it closed with only the text portion, no poll and when I tried to open it back up to either delete it or finish the poll, I could not do either!

**Update

I also just tried to go in and just make it a new thread topic, but it won't let me edit the original title, which it did at first because I changed it from the poll name I was making to "please someone delete this". Very weird stuff that I guess a moderator needs to clean up, but we should have an option of closing/deleting a thread we start, and especially should be able to edit it.

Thread deleted.

Did you try to use the "add poll" option found in thread tools? (and yes, there is a timeout on poll addition/title editing; I think it's 10 minutes).

Thanks. I don't think I found that add poll option, so it looked like I was stuck in an edit post only without any other options. I could swear the timeout on the title and poll editing was only a few minutes tops.

Might be five- but basically it's there to prevent tampering with poll results.
