This is mighty timely for me. I was just thinking how I'm not very happy with where I've been posting images. This will open up a whole new way of sharing. I really like the new look and thank you for all of your hard work.

I like the changes MO

One thing that struck me when i first visited the gallery was: if I click to see a members gallery when viewing said members picture, a page opens up listing all the images. When I open one of the photos from this page I would like the filmstrip to change to this members upload for easy navigation.

Just want to add my thanks to you for running this site. I find it a fun and good place to learn more about Pentax and photography. Also a big thanks too all that participate in making it so.

Since the system doesn't know when you're trying to view a particular person's photos, it would be really hard to change the way the filmstrip works. Among other things, I'd need to add an entirely new $GET variable for the URL, and add conditionals for every single field in the thumbnail output templates.

It was already hard enough deciphering a recent rendering bug with my 2-column layout, but I actually just found and implemented the solution in the PHP loop that's used to output the 24 thumbnails per page.

I'll do what I can to improve the gallery and add a more "albumish" feel to it, but that will involve some serious code changes which I do not have the time to mess with at the moment. Sorry- but thanks for the great suggestion anyway
