Unable to view full size images in gallery

Hi Adam,

When I select an image in the gallery and click on it all I get is the image moves to the centre of the image bar and is surrounded by a red rectangle! The image is not shown in a larger size??

I can't reproduce this error at the moment. Which photo is causing this trouble?

Please post a link so that I can take a deeper look. Thanks!

It doesn't seem to matter which photo I select - none seem to work!

All of them work for me.

Try opening this link and see if you see anything: https://www.pentaxforums.com/gallery/images/6667/1_Herons-53.jpg

What browser and OS are you using?

That link works fine and I see the larger image

I am using WINXP HOME AND IE8

I did a cut and paste of the links at the bottom of the page and the first link gave me exactly the same result. Using the second link I got to see the larger image!

Strange. I will test this with IE8, and through your account, to make sure there are no coding bugs.

I still can't reproduce this error. However, I would recommend setting your profile language to English, as that could potentially be a source of bugs.

Hello and good morning from the UK Adam. Still no luck with the images, despite updating my profile and setting the language to English as suggested. I suppose it has to be a setting somewhere on my system...Even if I go to a members gallery I still get the same fault. - Just a thought, going to look at my own images and see what happens!

I tested this through your account using IE8 and still cannot reproduce this. Perhaps you should try FireFox?

Well Firefox works ok. Looks as if Gallery is not compatible with IE8...

Are you using compatibilty mode? Microsoft screwed some things up in IE8, so compatilbity mode may have to be used with some of our pages.

Just logged in - tried compatibility mode no luck there either... I am sure there is someone out there who has had or is having the same problem? I wonder if they have a fix?

I'm confused to say the least- if anyone else can reproduce this and offer some more details I'd appreciate it.
