When using "add reply"

I used to be able to scroll down and see all the other replies before me but either I did something or something changed and now when I use the "add reply" option I just see the box and if I'm replying to something specific I can't scroll down and review what it is I'm replying to.
Does this make any sense?
I suppose I could just use the "quick reply" option but I guess I'm wondering what changed. I think I changed something trying out different stuff and I can't figure out what I did.

The thread review area should still be there- I haven't changed the editor template recently.
