Thanks for your tremendous support of the site in 2009, and I'm looking forward to an exciting new year which will witness even more growth (notably the 1,000,000-post mark)!

Merry Christmas to all, and a HappyNew Year!

The lights are doing their 44th Christmas. We bought them in Germany in 1965. They are still going strong, running at 115v, but made for 240v German wiring, so we get a really beautiful warm colour.

To stay on a Pentax topic - K10D, DA* 16-50/2.8, Manfrotto 055B tripod with 0168 ball head, P mode, 4 sec @ f/4, +2.0 stops, ISO 400, 33mm focal length. Tripod at mid tree height.

Merry Christmas to the moderators and all the members of the forums! Thank you for all your help and comments.

The Claus family was standing behind an office window--thought I'd let them say 'hello'.

Thanks to Adam for all his fine work in '09, and Merry Christmas, Happy New Year & Happy Holidays to all who make this forum such a great place.

Now off to hunker down for the 20+ inches of snow we're supposed to get over the next 2+ days.
I'm thinking there MIGHT be a photo opportunity out there somewhere once it ends!
