Introducing Auto Media Embedding

We already feature youtube and vimeo BBCode tags here on the forum, but I'm happy to announce that these are now obsolete, with the introduction of our new auto media embedding system.

Links to youtube, imageshack slideshows, flickr slideshows, google video, or vimeo films will now automatically be parsed and the linked media will be displayed inline.

Further suggestions for sites which don't automatically parse ale welcome. Enjoy!

Demo

All I typed was:

Code:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCYlqRIVvcs
What I got was:

Note: if something goes wrong and a link that doesn't actually contain media gets parsed, refer to this FAQ.

I posted a certain link and it got automatically parsed into a video, but I don't want it to be like that. How can I make it show up as just a link?

Answer:
Its a pretty simple solution. When you create the post you simply have to uncheck the checkbox that appears under the Additional Options Box that says Automatically embed media (requires automatic parsing of links in text to be on). With this unchecked it will video links will parse as normal links instead of videos. If the post has already been made, simply edit the post in Advanced Mode and uncheck that same option.

This feature seems to be a bit buggy when using the Preview Post button, especially with Vimeo links. In the preview, it either gets parsed as a link or a frame that shows a PentaxForums 404 error.

Link might be bad, or the system might not be working with vimeo. If it's the latter, then there might be something wrong with the system.
