Uh-Huh. An aprils fools joke.

And, I thought I had been outed as a covert Nikon User.

Maybe an omen of things to come.

Bulk Change

Yeah well the sad part is, each and every one has to be manually returned to the original. Somehow the User DB was corrupted when the changes happened. So there are a little over 13,000 members with tag changes.

we figure we can edit about 100-150 per day.

So it's going to take 80+ days or so to fix everyone's profile.
Just change everyone to "Pentax Legend" and see who complains about that.
I've been keeping my posts below 100 so as I don't become a "senior member".
I don't need to be reminded about greying hair thanks! ;p

Very cute - but a small problem that in the Antipodes its after 12pm. So doesn't that mean the jokes on you?

But if you can detect my old Canon AT-1 and T70 and other magic like that can you also wave the magic wand and get my old lenses and bellows to work with my Pentax gear? Now that would be an IT miracle I could live with.

Cheers

Why change when probably half the people here are already Canon or Nikon users...

Its busted, didn't detect my GF1. Guess panasonic isn't on the radar, must have given a Nikon false positive!

Nikon User...that's funny! I smashed my last Nikon with a hammer. Can I have mine changed to Nikon Smasher?

Intelligent user engine.
Not so intelligent: I've never owned a Nikon but have three Canons!

No wait, I DID touch my brother-in-law's D3 last summer, so perhaps that makes a bigger impression than an old SLR and two P&S cameras all together.

Nikon User? Canon User?

I'd like something more exotic like Hasselblad User or something more retro like Poloroid User

Mine stayed the same I feel so slighted now. I wouldn't have minded Mamiya User myself.
