January, 2011 Runner-Up: To The Clouds

I went up to Snoqualmie Pass tonight with just my dog and camera and I am so glad I did. The moon and clouds were amazing, the wind was blowing the low hanging clouds at a quick pace and I got some wild shots of it. I snowshoed up the Commonwealth Basin trail and started shooting, there was also an orange glow from the lights at Snoqualmie Summit West ski area on the opposite mountain.

Thank you everyone for your votes and comments. I hope to be able to capture the feeling I had that night shooting, my dog must of thought I was crazy whooping and hollering when I would take a shot and see it on my LCD. I plan on going back up under the full moon this month to try and get more night shots.
