March 2008 Winner: Dark Room

Imetered on the window and then shot it massively underexposed to black out the room. Slightly touched up in Lightroom.

I really liked this one, Buddha. May I suggest that your negative space might have benefitted from a small object placed in the right, lower third, of the image?

Funnny, but in the original there was a little bit of the bed in that very spot that I blackened out in PP.

I want to go back and take the same shot but this time have someone kneeling in front of the window so that there is light on their face but then blacked out right behind them like the room is.

NICE!! I guess you have a point. I was thinking of what KrisK10d said about something in the oposite corner. I think I should of left it there so people dont think I just added a bunch of black space to the image, or dropped a window into a black background, but it was actually a picture.

Holy crap, I actually won this thing? Well thanks very much for all whom voted for me and thanks to everyone who submitted for this months contest, it was the largest turnout we have had to date, very well done.
