The choice of those trees and the timing were both perfect. To me, the lacy tree provides the "mirroring."

Agree that the moon is loosely connected, but the shot deserves submission just due to its colours and graduation.

There is a great play of light and colors here. The foreground is such a nice touch, alternates light and dark well. I'll bet with a very well saturated B&W it would probably turn out nice as well.
